This WordPress plugin converts your images to WebP or AVIF and removes the original files to save space.

When you upload a large image (e.g. 5MB) to WordPress, it stores the original and generates multiple scaled versions. This can result in up to 8 image files, consuming 6MB or more of storage.

By removing the original files after conversion, you significantly reduce storage usage while keeping only the optimized versions of your image.

⚠️ Note: Due to the nature of this plugin, we strongly recommend backing up your website and testing on a staging site before running it on a live environment.
